Eliminating a trip hazard at the egress/ingress point of the ladder, the Finishing Rail Extension uses the ‘D’ extension to keep the bases away from the ladder landing. The Finishing Rail can be used in conjunction with any of the SafetyRail 2000 components.
The Finishing Rail is used to abut up to an access ladder frame. The ‘D’ Extension keeps the bases away from the ladder landing, eliminating a trip hazard at the egress/ingress point of the ladder. Using two Finishing Rails creates an optimal ladder access walkway that meets OSHA regulations. A SafetyRail 2000 Gate can also be added to create a secured access area.
Note: The most common size is 7 ft. long, which brings the access point beyond the 6’ OSHA set back from the leading edge.
