blocstop® BSO
safety devices for wire ropes
The blocstop® BSO is an automatic, fall-arrest secondary safety device which is fitted to the wire rope of a tirfor® or tirak® hoist. The blocstop® BSO is suitable to hold or restrain any loads during lifting and pulling applications.
When in overspeed, the blocstop® BSO automatically engages and locks on wire rope. The BS/BSO for double rope suspension provides a locking device for the primary and secondary wire ropes.
