Tirfor T516

This video demonstrates the use of the Tirfor T516 manual wire rope hoist. It can be used for lifting and pulling, but also for lowering, tensioning and securing loads in all directions.

Tirfor range

One of Tractel’s signature products, the Tirfor is known worldwide as THE top tier wire rope hoist, capable of working in any position and over any height of lift with unlimited rope length. The Tirfor is safe, reliable and efficient. It is best suited when doing long pulls or when requirements call for increased capacity. It is lightweight, quickly installed, includes overload protection and requires less effort than other wire rope hoists.

The Tirfor is particularly well suited for rescue operations. Fire rescue teams around the world rely on the Tirfor for the safe extraction of stuck vehicles or the movement of heavy equipment causing unsafe conditions. Areas of application 

The Tirfor is one of Tractel’s most versatile products, available in material handling and man riding models. It can be used when lifting work platforms or on suspended platforms, for guy-wire tensioning, during the erection of steel silos, for loading or unloading heavy equipment, in the rigging of escalators, when positioning transformers, for raising and lowering tents and during inspection and maintenance of a variety of structures. When used in conjunction with our Dynafor, it is an ideal solution for monitoring tension of anchors.
