Two-legged chain slings with shackles are ideal for situations where hooks, clamps or magnets are being used to lift large flat objects horizontally. Sometimes, pairs of two-legged chain slings can be used, when using TLC horizontal lifting clamps, for example. You can also use three-legged slings for certain lifting applications.
Topal hooks and clamps and Magnor magnetic clamps can be used with standard black chain or silver Corolim® Grade 8 EN818-7 load chain. Corolim® is self-lubricating, corrosion-resistant enough to pass a 400-hour salt spray test, can withstand temperatures of up to 280°C, and is not susceptible to hydrogen embrittlement.
