FABA™ sliders

FABA™ sliders are the building blocks for Tractel®’s height safety systems. The video demonstrates key features of the FABA™ AL-D in use with FABA™ ladder. FABA™ ladders help users to access varied heights and when used with the sliders prevent the users from injuries in case of a fall.

FABA™ Fall arresters on rail 

Since 1965, Tractel® is offering vertical and horizontal access solutions (FABA™ systems) based on modular, robust designs. FABA™ offers complete solutions and safety rails for safe access to your workplaces at height. A complete range of standard components guarantees a fall protection system according to EN 353-1:2018. FABA™ fall arrest systems allow safe climbing on fixed vertical ladders at any height and on horizontal access routes.

New FABA™ AL-D

The new slider FABA™ AL-D 150kg is an upgrade to FABA™ AL-D. The new version conforms to the latest applicable standard EN 353-1:2018 and to the European Regulation 2016/425 and is certified for a user weighing up to 150kg/

FABA™ AL-D is the traditional fall arrest slider. It is compatible with the ladder and rail of FABA™ A12 (in galvanized steel or stainless steel) and FABA™ AL2, AL2-Mobil, AL2-Mobil F (in anodized aluminium). 

This rigid vertical fall arrester is tested to stop the fall of one operator, with its tools and equipment, weighing up to 150 kg. It enables several operators to work in safety (each operator having his own FABA™ AL-D slider) if there are no more than two operators within 10m and at least 3m between them.
