Tirak in the elevator world
There are three main acitivities in the Elevator industry :
New installation :
The installation of a new elevator involves putting a elevator in a building that did not previously have one. This can include the design, manufacture, transport, assembly and commissioning of an entirely new elevator.
The installation time and the complexity of this process depends on the size of the elevator, but also on number of levels and the height of the shaft in which the elevator is to be installed.
Modernisation :
Elevator modernisation is a process designed to improve the performance, safety, reliability and aesthetics of an existing elevator. Rather than completely replacing the elevator, modernisation often involves upgrading certain components or systems to meet current standards, improve energy efficiency and extend the life of the equipment.
This process can be more complicated than new installation, as it involves using old elevator parts and adapting them to new equipment, while ensuring the operation and safety of the installation.
Maintenance :
Elevator maintenance is a set of planned and preventive activities designed to ensure the smooth, safe and reliable operation of a elevator over time. It includes regular inspection, cleaning, lubrication, replacement of worn parts, and other interventions necessary to ensure that the elevator meets safety and performance standards.
For all these activities, Tractel has developed two ranges of standard Tirak hoists that allow you to work safely and efficiently without the installation of any bulky scaffold bringing you the needed flexibility whatever the shape of the shaft.
Range “Toplat”
These Tirak versions are especially designed to be installed on top of the elevator cabin or false car. The hoist can be controlled by pendant or radio control.
The dual speed of the hoist allows the user to use these versions in 1:1 or reeved 2:1 configuration.
This version is sold with (Toplat FA) or without any fixing adapter to allow greater flexibility in integration. A standard removable adapter can be then ordered separately, and other versions are available on request.
Optional electrical monitoring from the Blocstop BSO fall arrest device can be selected if required.
