Rope tension meters

Our range of Dynarope wire rope tension meters are designed for measuring forces in a tensioned cable or rope precisely without having to dismantle the installation. Applications include guy wire maintenance, architectural wire rope installations, and antenna wires. The three models, which have separate applications, are the Dynarope HF37, HF36 and HF36/RWT.

The wire rope tension meter you choose depends on factors such as wire rope diameter and the forces being measured. The Dynarope HF37, for example, has a capacity range of 50 to 3000 kg and is compatible with rope diameters of between 5 and 16mm. The HF36 can measure loads of up to 40 tonnes.

The HF36 and HF36/RWT (rope tension meter for railway applications) provide precise measurement to an accuracy of within 1%. We have built comprehensive wire rope databases, so our wire rope tension meters can be calibrated to match your installation, and all our Dynarope devices come with LCDs for clear readings.
