Charlet blocks have been developed for all possible applications and are suitable for the most extreme ambient conditions. They can be used for reeving loads as well as pulling, lifting, and diverting wire or synthetic rope. Charlet blocks can handle weights of up to 500 tons.
We use materials such as cast iron and polyamide for our sheaves, which can be zinc bichromate-coated for added strength and corrosion resistance. We manufacture machined and unmachined sheaves with short and long hubs, built with bushes or bearings, or flared. The choice depends on the application, type of drive and the thickness of the rope or cable.
